1. Assemble the right tools
1)Create a hole in the concrete by using a hammer drill.
2)Use a hammer drill set in the hammer and rotation mode, so as to ensure proper hole dimensions and make drilling the hole easier.
3)If without a hammer drill, it will be difficult to drill a hole, and the holding value of the anchor may be decreased once an wedge anchor installed.
2. Determine the sizes

4. Check the depth
1)Make sure the depth of the hole is correct. Set the depth gauge on the hammer drill or place tape on the bit at the required depth.
2)Make sure that the bit is in the retracted position when placing the tape on the bit or setting the depth gauge. The retracted position is when the bit is at its most inward position in the chuck.
5. Clean the hole
1)With a wire brush, vacuum, or compressed air, clean all dust and debris in the hole to ensure proper holding values once the anchor is installed.
2)Clean the hole with a wire brush, and vacuum the hole. Repeat this operation several times, then the hole will be clean and ready for installation.
6. Install the wedge
